At Toyota Richmond, the vast majority of our used vehicles come from our valued customers. So we know where it comes from, as well as the maintenance history.
The refurbishment of used vehicles is done by Toyota Richmond in its own workshops by its Toyota certified technicians. All departments are solicited: Sales, Service, Parts, Bodywork and aesthetics.
A first rigorous selection of used vehicles is made by the sales department. Once the used vehicle has been selected and accepted for retail sale a work order is requested from the service department. The vehicle will then be assigned to a technician for a complete 160-point mechanical inspection according to TCUV standards. The vehicle will be updated in its maintenance and all parts that do not meet the standards will be replaced. Moving brake parts will be cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and repainted as needed.
Once the mechanical part is finished, the vehicle is transferred to the body and aesthetics departments. Minor bodywork with or without paint may be required on the vehicle. Then the used car is washed by our beauty team. The body of the vehicle will be polished in several stages and waxed. The interior will be cleaned and the seats removed for easy cleaning. Unfurnished or damaged car bodies and interior parts are also replaced.
